a small, thin focus,
is easiest to go straight through
but do not twist or cant the angle,
lest you break the bit.
a pilot hole,
then broaden, change heads,
make sure it is sharp and
make sure it is locked in to the drive;
push, slow, and make sure it isn’t spinning too hot
or fast, make sure the material isn’t
smoking or twisting around the bit,
approach the drill like a scholar approaches life,
approach life like the craftsman works the drill.
